Who we are, much more than a travel agency

OUR HISTORY

Viajes Tauro S.L. was created in 1971 by Jose Maria Hernandez with extensive experience in the sector and Marie France Jugla, member of an important family of French vine growers of the Medoc.

Since its inception has been a family company with a specialized product aimed at satisfying the needs of the client and seeking to establish professional links with tour operators and European agencies with whom share a same philosophy of tourism based on honesty, responsibility, flexibility and availability. In the 70s he signed a contract with the Italian railwaymen becoming one of the pioneering agencies in bringing Italians to Spain.

This pioneering task was recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya in the year 1994, granting them a Tourist Diploma of Catalonia.

At the beginning of the 21st century the retirement of Mr. Hernandez and Mrs. Jugla took place, beginning a generational change, passing the management to the second generation led by Mr. Juan Hernández Gasch (current manager), an economist specialized in tourism who has developed his professional career at Viajes Tauro where he was responsible for the Italian market in recent years and with the incorporation of Marcos Moreno Wolter (Tourism Technician in International Relations), a professional of recognized prestige within the sector and with extensive experience in Central European tourism.

At the present time Mr. Joan Hernández Gasch and Mr. Marcos Moreno Wolter are the Partners and the owners of Viajes Tauro.
